Meet Dr. Dayna Dane
Dr. Dayna Dane is an author, educator, behavior specialist, entrepreneur, and ordained minister whose work bridges faith, education, communication, and real-life experience. Her work is centered on helping people make sense of what they are navigating and equipping them with tools that are both practical and applicable in everyday life.
Dayna is a three-time graduate of Eastern Michigan University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in apparel, textiles, and merchandising in 2011, where she designed and developed a clothing line throughout her time in school and continued that work beyond graduation. She later earned her master’s degree in integrated marketing communications in 2019, where she built on her strong foundation in messaging, strategy, and audience engagement developed through her earlier work in marketing. While working in marketing within educational spaces, she identified a consistent gap. Educators often lacked the tools to communicate their work effectively, while marketers lacked the context to accurately represent educational systems. Rather than choosing one perspective, she decided to become fluent in both. She pursued a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, which she completed in 2025, allowing her to formally bridge the gap between education and communication.
Her professional work extends beyond theory into direct application. As a Registered Behavior Technician, her path became personal through her experience as a parent of a child on the autism spectrum. Navigating systems, services, and gaps in support led her to found Parent Pathway to ABA, a platform designed to provide families with guidance, resources, and access to information that is often difficult to navigate alone. That work reflects her commitment to clarity, accessibility, and real support for families.
In addition to her work in behavioral support and education, Dr. Dayna is an active author whose books focus on faith, reflection, and personal growth. Her devotionals and guided works are rooted in Scripture while remaining grounded in real experiences, allowing readers to engage with their faith in a way that is both honest and practical. Her role as an ordained minister shapes how she approaches both writing and service while remaining integrated across all areas of her work.
She is also the founder of Chalkboard to Brand, where she supports educators and organizations in developing clear, strategic, and impactful platforms. This work continues her commitment to bridging gaps, helping people communicate what they do in a way that is both effective and aligned with their purpose.
Across every area of her work, Dr. Dayna Dane remains focused on helping people understand what they are navigating and equipping them to move forward with clarity, intention, and purpose.
